Using constraints for animation in Maya

I came across this excellent video from David Latour that explains how constraints can make your life easy when doing complex animation, like swings and tumbling.

Constraint Demo 6: Tumbles and Swings from David Latour on Vimeo.

I think this method is pretty cool, and you can work with layers once the animation is baked, which will make your life easier.

There are other videos worth to have a look in David's channel. Check them out!
